Penyisihan atas kerugian penurunan nilai dilakukan untuk menutup kemungkinan kerugian adanya
piutang yang tidak tertagih. The allowance for impairment losses is provided to
cover the possible losses from uncollectible accounts.
Pada tahun 2015, manajemen Perusahaan memutuskan untuk menghapus piutang yang
sudah jatuh tempo sebesar AS8.119.317 yang sudah
dibentuk penyisihan
atas kerugian
penurunan nilai pada tahun 2012. Lokasi pelanggan ada di Syria dan tidak ada respon dari
pelanggan atas berbagai surat tagihan. Manajemen Perusahaan juga memutuskan untuk menghapus
piutang sebesar AS665.074 yang sudah dibentuk penyisihan atas kerugian penurunan nilai pada
tahun 2011, berdasarkan penilaian manajemen bahwa piutang tersebut tidak memiliki prospek
yang realisitis untuk pemulihan di masa yang akan datang berdasarkan status kredit pelanggan dan
faktor pasar saat ini yang mempengaruhi industri minyak global.
In 2015, the Company’s management decided to write-off its long-outstanding receivable amounting to
US8,119,317 which had been fully provided with an allowance for impairment loss in 2012. The customer
is located in Syria and there were no response from the customer after various demand letters. Also, the
Company’s management decided to write-off long- outstanding receivable amounting to US665,074
which had been fully provided with allowance for impairment
loss in
2011, based
on the
management’s assessment that this receivable has no realistic prospect of future recovery based on the
customer’s credit status and current market factors affecting the global oil industry.
Berdasarkan hasil penelaahan terhadap adanya penurunan nilai pada akhir tahun, manajemen Grup
berpendapat bahwa penyisihan atas kerugian penurunan nilai piutang usaha cukup untuk
menutup
kemungkinan kerugian
atas tidak
tertagihnya piutang usaha. Based on the results of review for impairment at the
end of the yea r, the Group’s management is of the
opinion that the allowance for impairment losses is adequate to cover possible losses from the non-
collection of the accounts.
