The headline said, “Saving Sight Worldwide.” This headline meant an admittance of people around the world to save blindness. It

people need proper eye care. It meant that 80 of those blindness do not have to be blind, because they could be cured, unfortunately they did not have any
access for eye care. From the analyzes, it found that both addresser and addressee have the

14. Advertisement 14 Jesuit Refugee Services

headline said, “And you are worried about stepping on the dog poo.” This headline showed the euphemism of those Cambodian. The Cambodian assumed
„the dog poo‟ as the landmines. The Cambodian was worried about stepping on the landmines. Cambodian avoided stepping on landmines, but they could not
choose because there were many landmines in Cambodia. Cambodian needed to free from landmines, they needed to escape from apprehensiveness. It
Cambodian afraid of landmines. The analyzes came to the conclusion as on the presupposition because the other information were appeared on body copy.
The advertisement expressed that the addresser aimed to inform and invite people outside Cambodia to deliberate Cambodia from landmines. Those people
could have the further information about this action on the proper address given. Beside, the presupposition on this advertisement has a purpose to persuade

15. Advertisement 15 Shell
Shell was one of the oil makers which concerned on the save oil for environment. In this advertisement, Shell invited people to save the energy for our
future through using natural gas. Natural gas, which made from natural materials, could help the electricity to create clearest-burning fossil fuel. Thus, the headline,
“Let‟s make Feng‟s washing even cleaner. Let‟s go.” appeared in order to convince message to save energy for better future.
The headline Feng‟s washing was clean. The headline expressed Feng
‟s needed who lived in a big city in China. He needed extra energy to generate electricity such as washing, actually,
his washing was clean but the addresser intended to show Shell‟s excess. Even
