Based on the data stated above, thirteen respondents vote for F1, five respondents vote for F2, no respondent votes for M1, and two respondents vote
for M2. It shows that F1 is the most readable one because most votes are addressed to F1. F1‟s translation is considered as readable. F1 breaks one sentence
from the ST into two sentences in the TT. For the evidence, F1 translates “There was something nice when I kissed her, something gentle and right, and that was
enough for me” into “Indah, ketika kucium dia. Lembut dan terasa benar, dan itu cukup bagiku”.
F1 translates “There was something nice when I kissed her” into “Indah, ketika ku cium
dia”. F1 also modifies the content word in the sentence which makes the translation cover the message of the ST and deliver the idea clearly in
the TT. For example, the translator translates “There was something nice when I kissed her” into “Indah, ketika ku cium dia”. F1 rearranges the word “nice”
indah as an adjective instead of something as a noun in order to define “something” as an adjective in the beginning of the sentence.
