b. Partly Equivalent
There are 12 data of partly equivalent that employed by the translator to translate address terms that found in English Romeo and Juliet movie text and
their translated expressions in Bahasa Indonesia subtitling movie text. The examples of partly equivalent are presented below.

T1: Ride, cousin T2: Ride, saudaraku
The example above is the dialogue of Juliet’s father to Tybalt. He is a cousin of Juliet’s father. In this situation, he talks to support Tybalt as his cousin in the
Tournamnet. Based on the example above, it is an example of partly equivalent translation.
As seen in the translation of cousin used by lord to address Tybalt as his cousin in text 1. In text 2 the word cousin is translated by adding the word ku into saudaraku.
Thus, in the datum above belongs to partly equivalent translation. Datum: 500:03:0600:03:06TRPE
T1: My lady and my lord will soon be home. T2: Tuan putri dan tuan akan segera pulang
This conversation happens when Nurse is looking for Juliet and asking her to prepare since her parents are going to be home soon. But, Juliet is still play around
the house. The nurse asks her patiently. The example above, it is partly equivalent translation. As seen in the translation
of my lord is used by nurse to address Juliet in text 1. In text 2 is translated by
omitting the word my into tuan only. Thus, in the datum above belongs to partly equivalent translation.

T1: Sweet cousin, say not so, but may I have a name? T2: Sepupuku yang tampan, aku tidak bermaksud seperti itu, tetapi mungkin
beritahu aku namanya? The datum above is the dialogue of Benvolio to Romeo. Benvolio asks about
the name of woman whom he loves. He is also curious a lot about that. The datum above is categorized into partly equivalent. As seen in the
translation of cousin in text 1 which is translated into sepupuku. The word ku in text 2 is added by the translator. The word cousin used to address Romeo as his
beloved cousin. Datum: 3400:10:2900:10:29KAMPPE
T1: Tell me, daughter, what do you think of marriage? T2: Katakan kepadaku, putriku, apa yang kau pikirkan tentang pernikahan?
In this situation is a serious situation. It is when Juliet’s mother talks to Juliet about marriage. Her father has selected a man for her. His name is Paris.
Based on the example above, it is an example of partly equivalent translation. As seen in the translation of daughter
used by Juliet’s mother to address Juliet in text 1. In text 2 is translated by adding the word ku into putriku. Thus, in the datum
above belongs to partly equivalent translation.
