UNIT 3 Let’s Review The Last Lesson
Snapshot Ask the learners to answer the questions and share their answers to the class.
What’s the weather like in your city today? What are the seasons in your country? Does your country also have summer, autumn,
winter, and spring? How is the temperature of the seasons above? How many degree celcius is it in
average? What about your country’s season’s temperature? What season is it now?
What’s your favourite season? Invite them to have discussion in class; highlight interesting answers or experience to make the
discussion livelier.
Conversation After the learners share their experience in the snapshot, ask them to read the conversation. Then,
when finished, ask the learners whether they have difficult words or not.

Classroom Language Expressions -
Ask the learners to mention some language expressions in the conversation for reviewing and to share their experience when they review lessons.
- Give a brief explanation about how to review lessons.
Invite learners to ask some questions if any. -
Ask the learners to do the exercises. Exercise 1
Give the learners time ± 5 - 10 minutes to read the situation and to complete the dialogue with the language expression they have
discussed or with any other appropriate response. Then, ask your students to share their answers.
Exercise 2 Ask the learners to discuss the situation with their partners and
decide on they want to perform. They can use the suggested expressions if they want to. When they are ready, ask them to perform
for the class and discuss their performance together.
B. Positive and Negative Numbers
- Discuss “Positive and Negative Numbers” with the learners and explain how to say
positive and negative numbers and their terms. -
Ask the learners to do the exercises. Exercise 1
Ask the learners to say the numbers in the exercise aloud. Exercise 2
Ask the learners to answer the questions orally.

Exercise 3 Copy the tables on page 148 so that there is one for each learner.
Give out one table to each learner. The object of the game is to complete the table. To do this, learners
must move around the class asking questions about Celcius, Fahrenheit, and Kelvin until the have obtained all its information.
After the game is finished, ask them to say the meaning of the vocabularies written on the box.

What do you think of the world population growth and its distribution? The pace of population growth may continue to increase. Can the world’s land and
resources support the demands of so many people? Look at the population size of Europe and North America How do you compare it?
Look at the distribution percentage of Africa and Asia How do you compare it? Say the region which has the least number to the greatest of its population size in 2050?
