67 code-switching in the magazine may create a smooth and natural conversation. In
these two points, there is a relevant essence that Cosmogirl Indonesia Magazine used code-switching in order to build an effective communication. It could be
seen by the use of code-switching aims to have a comprehensible information for the readers.
Another finding which had been found by the writer in this research is the use of code-switching is seen as a way to support English language development.
From the result and discussion, it can be drawn up that the use of code-switching in Cosmogirl Magazine may enrich vocabularies for readers. The use of English
terms in Cosmogirl Indonesia Magazine can develop the readers’ store of English vocabulary and expressions. In other words, by reading the magazine, the readers
will obtain two advantages. First, information and entertainment from the content of the magazines and second, the readers unconsciously attain vocabulary
enrichment. On the other hand, the use of code-switching in Cosmogirl Indonesia
Magazine also has disadvantage in terms of the existence of certain words in Bahasa Indonesia. It can be drawn up that the use of code-switching may reduce
the familiarity of certain words in Bahasa Indonesia. In fact, nowadays there are many English words and expressions which are more popular than their
equivalence in Bahasa Indonesia.

B. Suggestions
After analyzing data and discovering meaningful findings, the writer would like to give some suggestions to readers of Cosmogirl Indonesia Magazine
and other researchers who are interested in code-switching phenomena. From the research findings, since English code-switching has advantages
and disadvantages for readers, the writer would like to suggest that readers should balance for both enriching English vocabulary store and knowing the equivalance
of certain words in Bahasa Indonesia, thus, it will not reduce the familiarity of the words in Bahasa Indonesia.
Other researchers may conduct study on code-switching in another scope, for instance code-switching phenomenon in a spoken context, which is the
research on communication among lecturer and students in class. In addition, the research can involve many participants. The researcher may also analyze reasons
and opinion of students and lecturer on a code-switching phenomenon. This research suggestion is expectantly to expand knowledge in terms of contribution
of code-switching in language learning.
