The third example is taken from the first stanza of Can You Feel The Love Tonight
. In this example the explanation is also the same like the second example. It may look that the English is longer, but both are actually comprised of the same
syllables. In this example, Metrical Translation is standing with Blank Verse Translation.
It can be said that Metrical Translation is a seldom used in the translation of the five selected songs. It is hard to produce a same meter as the original. It should
be noted that Metrical Translation seldom stands alone as a translation strategy. Most of the time, it is used with Literal Translation. Thus, Metrical Translation is
a secondary strategy towards the Literal Translation.
d. Interpretation
The next is interpretation. Interpretation loosely based on the translator opinion and mind. It is how the translator would want to translate specific line
into heshe deemed fit. There are found the used of interpretation twenty six times throughout all the five songs. It is should be noted that Interpretation is most used
in the translation of The Lion King song, Can You Feel The Love Tonight, that has been translated into Dapatkah Kau Rasakan Cinta.

A new fantastic point of view Sungguh indah bersamamu
The first example is taken from the first stanza of Can You Feel The Love Tonight
. In this example it can be seen that the translator ignore the English line. There are differences in meaning, and also in context. However, in term of
musical devices and song, this line is acceptable. Both have five feet, although with different beats. This might happen because the translator wanted to make a
line that can fit the musical notes. If the translator translated the line by using strategy that is concerning mostly on meaning and context, such as Literal and
Blank Verse, it will be unfit to the musical notes. In this kind of example, the translator use imitation, where only the point of departure is the same, while the
line is different from the original English line. The second example is also taken from the same song, but different stanza.
This is taken from the third stanza. It is also the type of imitation. The line “how it’s laid to rest” is translated into “alam saksinya”. This is obviously different in
meaning. However the translator follows the previous line which is “dapatkah kau rasakan cinta”. This is a good line to follow the previous line. The translator
creates hisher own line, to follow the previous line, to make a same impact as the English song would be. In term of rhythm and meter, these two lines have the
same foot, which is two feet, but different beats. The English line employs one anapest and one lamb, while the Bahasa Indonesia employs one trochee and one
dactyl.
The third example is taken from the third stanza of A Whole New World. The line “A new fantastic point of view” is translated into “Sungguh indah
bersamamu”. This is also a type of imitation, because all of it is different between the English and Bahasa Indonesia. It can be said that the translator interpret the
line a new fantastic point a view is fantastic because of you. Thus, the translator translated the line into that. Also, this line fit with the music note, because both
have same beats although different meter. It can be seen that the strategy interpretation mostly used the imitation types.
The example presented tell the difference meaning, however the same point of departure of the music. It can also be seen that Interpretation creates a different
meaning. However, it can be said that the lines produced by Interpretation have a certain aestheticism. It is more poetic that the Literal Translation and Blank Verse
Translation.
