1. ROLE PLAY – STAFF AND TOURIST

Meetingtopic : 1Greeting and Introduction Type of activity : Role‐play Participants : 2 people Functioned practiced : Greeting and introduction Ask students to work in pairs. Next, ask each pair to make conversation between a staff and a tourist. The order of the conversation should follow the instruction in the card. Tell the students that they have to do the conversation spontaneously by seeing the clues in their own card. Practice the conversation in front of the class.

2. CO‐OPERATING

Meetingtopic : 5Giving Direction Type of activity : Co‐operating Participants : 3‐4 people Functioned practiced : Giving Direction Divide students into groups consisting 3‐4 people. Copy of 4 pictures of places in Prambanan and ask students to open their book on page 13 . Tell the students that they have to work in group and answer all the questions that they have. First, ask one student in each group to read the question to their group. Second, other members should answer the question and find the correct picture that represents their answer. They also should give the direction to that place. Do the same things for the rest of the questions. Each student should be given a chance to read the question. Meetingtopic : 5Giving Direction Type of activity : Information‐gap Participants : 2 people Functioned practiced : Giving Direction Divide students into pairs. One student becomes Student A and another student becomes Student B. Ask Student A to open Student’s Book page 14 and Student B on page 15. Student A has the location of places which student B doesn’t have. Student B has to ask student A to tell where the places are located. Student B has the locations of places which student A does not have. Student A has to ask student B to tell where the places are located. When they have finished completing their own map, check the answer with their partner’s map.
