1. Infographic
Infographic is used to visualize the data. Infographic is information graphic that represents the data, knowledge or other information visually with
images, graphics, tables and colors. Smiciklas 2012 says that “infographic is
defined as the visualization of the information or thoughts that carry the complicated information to a group of people in a practical way which is easy to
use and understand” p. 3. “They are concise, easily digestible, and aesthetically appealing, incorporating clever visual elements to highlight key
information” Bellato, 2013. The readers find it easy to find the main idea of the information
after read the infographic. It is because infographic has the main points of the information. It also agreed by Wisniewski and Fichter 2007 that say the
infographic visually representing the information by providing the shortcut to the main points and illustrates relationships better than text p. 57. As stated by
Bellato 2013, infographic presented in modern and dynamic visual format and usually creates in many forms which are most commonly found as online poster
as cited in Davis Quinn, 2014, p. 16. See Figure 2.1

Figure 2.1 Adjective Infographic
This is the example of adjective infographic. As seen on the picture, the design contains some main points with short descriptions and examples of the
information which is about the explanation of adjective. The design also used pictures, colors and shapes in order to make the design looks more interesting.
This design also explains the information systematically so that the audience can easily get the main points of the information.
The use of infographic in learning helps the students to absorb the information easily through graphic-colors and pictures. It is also agreed by Felder
and Salomon 2000 in his research which shows that the student who prefer information in a form of visual information retain the material most effectively
when they are able to see it, that is, when material is presented with illustration and photos, slides or other graphic form . Learning by using infographic can
increase the learner experience Bellato, 2014.
