D. Presentation of the Final Version of the Designed Materials

The second problem in the problem formulation was the presentation of the designed materials. Therefore, after revising the design, the writer presented the final version of the designed set materials to answer the second question in the problem formulation. There are eight units in this design and the time allocation for each unit is 2x50 minutes 100 minutes. Each unit has five sections, namely, Warming-Up, Practice, Language Focus, Communicative Activities, and Language Exercise. The explanation of each section is as follows.

1. Warming-Up

This first section is to prepare the learners before they do the main tasks. It contains some activities to stimulate the learners to activate their background knowledge. The learners are asked to discuss a topic by answering some questions in group work. Besides, they are also asked to mention and sort some expressions that they have known related to the topic being learnt.

2. Practice

The second section consists of two examples of dialogue related to the topic being learnt. The dialogues are based on the real situation in the homestay of a tourism village. In this section, the learners work in pair to practice the dialogues and then, they discuss the dialogues and identify the expressions found in the dialogues. 3. Language Focus

The third section deals with the theory of the topic being learnt. It contains some language expressions related to the topic being learnt. The learners pronounce and study the language expressions together with the teacher. The purpose of this section is to help the learners to know some useful expressions.

4. Communicative Activities

The fourth section is the main task of the materials. In this section, the learners have opportunities to use the language in pair. Communicative Activities section consists of a game and a mini role-play. It aims to help the learner to be able to use the target language in real situations.

5. Language Exercise
