4 Waiting for the Birth Day It was the cold days in October. My group had won the hockey competition against Saratoga 2 – 1. I was devastated, tired but happy. Then, my mother told me that she had to go to the doctor that day. “What’s for?” I questioned her. Suddenly, I became nervous thinking kinds of disease that might be suffered by my mother. “Yeah…” she was in doubt answering my question. I became so worried. “I’m pregnant” said my mother. “What?” I yelled. “Pregnant” she replayed. I couldn’t say a word. I was scared. I had to share my mother I didn’t want my mother to have any children after she married to my step father. This was a selfish feeling, I didn’t want to share my mother, even just for the smallest part But, when I saw my step father, he was very happy waiting for his first child. I was happy too. And I couldn’t wait to tell everyone about this happiness, but, on the other hand, I have to cope my fear and anger. My parents involved in preparing for the all this that related to the baby such as name and decorating the baby’s room. But I was scared. I was scared to be passing from my family. On that July 17, knowing that the baby would show up in a moment, I felt insecure. What my life will be? Will I be a baby-sitter? What I have to sacrifice? The baby is coming …… All my fear was disappeared. When I saw MY LITTLE SISTER I couldn’t describe my feelings at that time. I could only imagine that my mother would accompany me to wait for the school bus with my little sister. And she would ask me to play with her before I take off my jacket. I realize, now, that there is plenty of love for EMMA, my little sister. My hatred assuming that she would seize something in my life was banished. She brings happiness.
