ABSTRACT
A. SUTOWO LATIEF. The Environmental Friendly Management of Brown
Sugarcane Small Business Model in Kudus Regency of Central Java. Supervised by RIZAL SYARIEF, BAMBANG PRAMUDYA N and MUHADIONO.
This research aims to build Model of Brown Sugarcane Small Business which is having vision of environment friendly in Kudus Regency of Central Java. This
model consists of 1 sub model of sugarcane productivity, 2 sub model of quality improved, 3 sub model of financial analysis. Research method used
combination of field experimental design, laboratory experimental design and survey with quesioner as interview guidence and also with direct observation at
industrials location. The result of researh was sugarcane productivity with chemical fertilizer treatment: Po = 100, P1 = 75, P2 = 50, and P3 = 25
from
farmer’s habit, added liquid organic fertilizer. There are significant difference and the highest productity was P2 = 21.67 kgm

or 184 ton per hactare year. Cost of farming sugarcane save was Rp 697.500 per hectare year and
farming benefit was Rp. 18.150.300 per hectare year. Improvement of brown sugarcane quality was done experimentally laboratory by sulphitasion method.
Lime was added into cane juice up to pH 9 then add sulphite acid up to pH 7 and pH 8 in temperature 50ºC
– 60ºC till boiled and filtering. Mature temperature were: 70ºC, 80ºC, 90ºC and 100ºC. The quality parameter or independent variable
were: 1 water content, 2 sucrose content, 3 glucose content, 4 eficiency, 5 colour, 6 taste, 7 smell, and 8 hardness. The result of brown sugarcane fulfil
first quality of SNI1-6237-2000, the best method mature cane juice in temperature 100°C, to pH 7. Labour total average 9 person per unit of Brown Sugarcane Small
Business. The whole of household family of Brown Sugarcane Small Business in Kudus Regency are 1204 persons. Total Brown Sugarcane Small Business in
Kudus Regency as much as 308 units. Added value magnitude were 29 , worker share was 48 , entrepreneur profit every day was Rp 235.707 or 14,5 . Net
profit every season mills during 5 months were Rp 30.641.910. The business activity of Brown Sugarcane Small Business proper carried out. Based on the
value of NPV = Rp 57.451.031, IRR = 51 wich as bigger than bank interrest , Net BC = 2,17 1, and PBP =1,89 year, less than 5 years. Environment Friendly
Management of Brown Sugarcane Small Business Model in Kudus Regency of Central Java is built based on financial that are alloyed of three sub model. The
