5.1.2 Neraca Bahan Bakar Cair
Pada skenario dasar kebutuhan bahan bakar cair BBC yang terdiri dari BBM, bahan bakar nabati BBN berupa biodiesel serta biotanol, dan BBM sintetis dari produk pencairan batubara CTL, diperkirakan akan meningkat menjadi 3 kali lipat, dengan pertumbuhan 4,7 per tahun. Produksi BBM Indonesia terbatas akibat kapasitas kilang yang ada hanya dapat ditingkatkan produksinya dari 245 juta barel pada tahun 2012 menjadi 603 juta barel pada tahun 2035. Menurunnya produksi BBM berdampak pada impor BBM yang meningkat 3 kali lipat, walaupun selama perioda 23 tahun produksi BBN telah ditingkatkan sebanyak 30 kali lipat, namun impor BBM tetap akan meningkat 3 kali lipat. Sebaliknya, telah sesuainya teknologi kilang baru dengan spesiikasi minyak mentah yang diproduksi akan meningkatkan eisiensi produksi, sehingga ekspor BBM diperkirakan akan terus menurun. In 2004 domestic crude oil production is not suicient to meet the demand and Indonesia has become a net oil importer since. This occurred because there has been no discovery of new reserves and subsequently decreased the crude oil reserves. During the projection period, accumulation of crude oil imports in both scenarios account for about 66 of crude oil consumption, with 6,881 million barrels in BAU scenario and 7,541 million barrels in High Scenario. Due to the increase in reinery eiciency with new technologies that is appropriate to the type of crude oil as well as conversion and diversiication eforts, crude oil exports are expected to decline from 115 million barrels in 2012 to about 20.2 million barrels in 2035 for the both scenarios.5.1.2 Liquid Fuels Balance
In the BAU scenario, liquid fuels demand which consists of petroleum fuel, biofuels biodiesel and bioethanol, and synthetic fuel from coal liquefaction products CTL, is expected to increase to 3-fold, with a growth of 4.7 per year. Indonesian oil production is limited due to the limited reinery capacity that can only be increased from 245 million barrels in 2012 to 603 million barrels in 2035. Decreased production of petroleum fuel has impact on increasing fuel imports to 3-fold despite the large growth of biofuel production that reaches 30 fold compared to the beginning of the projection. Conversely, adjustment on reinery technology to match the crude oil speciication will increase the eiciency of production and is expected to decline the petroleum fuel export.Parts
