speaker can feel sadness and empathy that comes from him. It is exaggerated through their environment which is the green leaves. It shows that the nature also can be part

hyperbole is less. It is translated by using modulation. Furthermore, the degree of equivalence shows that the translated expression is categorized as partly equivalent.

The example above is categorized as hyperbole since the speaker exaggerates the situation when his mother sees her son works to earn money. It
makes her very sad which means similar to heart broken. The translation technique used by the translator is explicitation. There is additional information taken from
‘pemandanganitu’. The words are translated into ‘seeing me run someone else’s errands’ that emphasize the situation. As a result, the quality of translation product is
considered as partly equivalent.
