Berdasarkan hasil publikasi Gavin McCance pada data centre CERN, telah berhasil mereduksi kompleksitas pengelolaan infrastruktur dengan teknologi cloud computing, kerusakan serverhardware tidak berdampak signifikan terhadap layanan, karena infrastruktur berjalan tangkasagile dalam mengantisipasi perubahan strategi CERN ke depan, konsep IaaS digunakan pada cloud CERN, berikut usulan rancangan private cloud Universitas Lampung.
