Prof. DR. H.M. Din Syamsudin, M.A. Chosen as the President Sharia
Supervisory Board of PT Bank Syariah Bukopin, he has assumed this post since
December 2008. He got his doctorate degree from Interindepartment Program
from University of California, Los Angeles, USA. Din is also well known as
the Chairman of Muhammadiyah and Vice Chairman of Indonesian Ulema
Council.
Member
DR. H. Anwar Abbas, M.M., M.Ag. He was chosen to assume the post as a
member of the Sharia Supervisory Board at PT Bank Syariah Bukopin since De-
cember 2008. In academic field, Anwar Abbas received his doctoral degree from
the State Islamic University UIN, Jakarta. Currently, Anwar Abbas remains
active as the Chairman of Economic Empowerment of the Indonesian Ulema
Council MUI and Vice Treasurer at the Muhammadiyah headquarter.

H. Ikhwan Abidin Basri, M.A. Selected as the member of Sharia
Supervisory Board at PT Bank Syariah Bukopin since December 2008. In
academic field, Ikhwan Abidin is a master graduate on International
Institute of Islamic Economics, International Islamic University IIU,
Islamabad, Pakistan. He is active as a member of Indonesian Ulema Council’s
National Sharia Board work group DSN –MUI.

Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh
Puji
dan syukur kita panjatkan kepada Allah SWT, pemilik dan pemelihara alam semesta, kare-
na atas segala karunia-Nya jualah hingga saat ini nikmat yang kita rasakan tidak pernah berhenti.
Pemegang saham yang terhormat, Kondisi ekonomi global pada 2010 secara umum
mengalami ekspansi, setelah sebelumnya berturut-turut mengalami kontraksi akibat krisis
keuangan global pada 2008 dan 2009. Tahun 2010 merupakan tahun pemulihan ekonomi di
seluruh kawasan dari krisis yang merebak sejak semester kedua tahun 2008. Pemulihan tersebut
salah satunya didorong oleh kinerja ekonomi negara-negara emerging market di kawasan Asia.
Sebagai salah satu negara emerging market di kawasan Asia, kinerja ekonomi Indonesia ter-
bilang sangat baik. Meskipun laju pertumbuhan inflasi di atas target yang ditetapkan pada 2010,
namun angkanya masih tetap terkendali pada kisaran satu digit yaitu sebesar 7. Pertumbuhan
ekonomi nasional yang sebesar 6, dan nilai tukar rupiah terhadap dolar Amerika Serikat AS
terkendali pada rentang Rp9.010 per US, merupakan bukti bahwa kinerja ekonomi nasional
pada 2010 jauh lebih baik dari dua tahun sebelumnya.
Kondisi perekonomian nasional, merupakan momentum penting bagi industri perbankan
syariah untuk melakukan ekspansi usaha. Baik dalam penghimpunan dana pihak ketiga DPK
maupun penyaluran pembiayaan. Berdasarkan data Bank Indonesia BI, volume usaha, pembia-
yaan yang diberikan PYD, dan DPK perbankan syariah secara year on year yoy akhir 2010,
masing-masing mengalami pertumbuhan sebesar 47,55, 45,42 dan 45,46.
Efektifitas intermediasi bank syariah juga masih tetap terjaga, dengan financing to deposit ratio
FDR pada akhir 2010 yang mencapai 89,67.

Praised
and blessed to Allah SWT, the owner of the universe, because of Allah’s bless,
we could still feel the joy and pleasure of life.
The honorable shareholders, Global economic conditions in 2010 generally
experienced expansion, after the previous consecutive contraction due to the global
financial crisis in 2008 and 2009. The year 2010 was a year of economic recovery across the
region from the crisis that broke out since the second half of 2008. Recovery is among others
was driven by the economic performance of emerging market countries in Asia.
As one of the emerging market countries in Asia, Indonesia’s economic performance is fairly
good. Although the growth rate of inflation above the target set in 2010, but their numbers
still remain subdued at single digit range that is equal to 7. National economic growth at 6,
and the rupiah against the US dollar US controlled in the range of Rp9,010 per US, this
is to prove that national economic performance in 2010 is much better than the previous two
years.
Economic conditions nationwide, is an important moment for the Islamic banking
industry to expand the business. This is including both third-party funding DPK and the
distribution of financing. Based on data from Bank Indonesia BI, the volume of business,

Dari sisi jangkauan pelayanan, perbank an syariah dalam periode laporan secara geo grafis telah
menjangkau masyarakat di lebih dari 103 kabupatenkota dan 33 provinsi di Indonesia.
Di usia yang terbilang sangat muda, prestasi yang dicapai Perseroan relatif sangat baik. Total aset
Perseroan pada 2010 meningkat sebesar 11,09 atau menjadi sebesar Rp2,194 triliun, dari tahun
sebelumnya yang sebesar Rp1,975 triliun. Pencapaian tersebut mencerminkan market share
Perseroan sebesar 2,25 terhadap total volume usaha perbankan syariah nasional yang mencapai
Rp97,519 triliun.
Kami menilai, komitmen penuh yang diberikan oleh PT Bank Bukopin Tbk sebagai pemegang
saham mayoritas diwujudkan dengan menambah setoran modal untuk menjadikan Perseroan
sebagai bank syariah dengan pelayanan terbaik. Dewan Komisaris menilai, Perseroan sudah
memenuhi dan menjalankan seluruh ketentuan perbankan seperti yang digariskan BI. Selain itu,
kami me lihat manajemen selama ini sudah menjalankan komitmen, baik kepada BI,
stakeholder, maupun pihak ketiga.
Ke depan, Perseroan akan tetap fokus pada pengem bangan sumber daya insani SDI dan
pelayanan. Saat ini, Perseroan telah merekrut SDI berkualitas melalui program officer development
program ODP. Perseroan telah mencetak lulusan ODP yang langsung menjadi officer potensial
sebanyak 40 orang yang telah tersebar di beberapa cabang BSB. Dalam waktu dekat Insya
Allah akan diselenggarakan kelas ODP II yang saat ini sudah dalam tahap final proses
rekrutmen.
Pengembangan berikut bagi lulusan ODP adalah proses percepatan pengembangan atau Talent
Development bagi karyawan yang sangat poten- sial, setelah dilakukan Talent Mapping. Diharap-
kan, ke depan, seiring dengan perkembangan bisnis Perseroan, karyawan potensial tersebut
dapat segera mengisi posisi Middle Management. Dengan program ini, diharapkan, SDI Perseroan

carries out all banking regulations as outlined by BI. In addition, we observe the management so
far has been running the commitment, either to the BI, stakeholder, and third parties.
In the future, the Company should continue to focus on human resource development SDI
and services. Today, the Company had been recruited human resources through the quality
officer development program ODP. the Com- pa ny has scored ODP graduates who immedia-
tely become a potential officer all of 40 people who have been planned in several branches of
BSB. In the near future, the Company planned to held ODP class II who are now in the final
stage of the recruitment process.
Next development for ODP graduate is accelerating the process of development or
Talent Development for a potential employee, after the process of Talent Mapping. Hopefully,
in the future, along with the Company business development, the potential employees could
immediately fill the position of Middle Management. With this program, hopefully, the

dapat lebih baik lagi dan kontribusinya terhadap kemajuan Perseroan di masa mendatang akan
semakin besar. Dengan demikian, kepercayaan masyarakat pun semakin meningkat.
Kami melihat, pada 2011 masih banyak peluang pengembangan produk dan bisnis Perseroan. Ada
delapan sektor usaha yang menjadi target market Perseroan ke depan, yaitu telekomunikasi,
pendidikan, kesehatan, migas, transportasi, pariwisata, konstruksi, dan perdagangan umum.
Dari sisi produk, kami berencana mengembang- kan produk syariah baru, apalagi sebenarnya
produk syariah dikenal sangat variatif. Dewan Komisaris juga melaporkan, bahwa selama 2010,
Perseroan telah mengimplementasikan good corporate governance GCG dengan lebih baik.
Saat ini, kelengkapan kelembagaan komite sebagaimana yang dipersyaratkan oleh ketentuan
GCG, telah menjalankan fungsinya masing masing. Tidak hanya itu, Dewan Komisaris juga
telah melaku kan pelaporan mengenai kondisi keuangan untuk memenuhi prinsip transparansi.
Dalam kesempatan ini, Dewan Komisaris meng- ucapkan terima kasih kepada manajemen
Perseroan yang telah bekerja keras selama satu Companys human resources could be better

kita mencermati kinerja yang dicapai Perseroan selama 2010, sudah selayaknya kita
bersyukur kehadirat Allah SWT atas segala karunia dan ridho-Nya. Seiring dengan
membaiknya kondisi perekonomian nasional dan global, Perseroan juga berhasil mencapai kinerja
yang sangat baik.
Makro Ekonomi
Secara makro, sistem keuangan global dan regional di 2010 sudah semakin membaik.
Meskipun menghadapi sejumlah tantangan, tetapi perekonomian nasional tetap tumbuh dengan
baik. Indonesia merupakan sedikit diantara negara-negara di Asia yang berhasil mencatat
pertumbuhan positif. Setelah mengalami pertumbuhan sebesar 4,5 pada 2009, pada
2010 perekonomian Indonesia berhasil tumbuh positif sebesar 6.
Industri perbankan nasional pun demikian. Meskipun cukup banyak tantangan yang dihadapi
seperti kebijakan kenaikan giro wajib minimum GWM sebesar 3 di akhir 2010, namun
perbankan tetap mampu melewati tantangan tersebut dengan baik. Ini artinya, perekonomian
dan perbankan Indonesia memiliki daya tahan yang cukup baik.
Jika dibandingkan dengan 2008 dan 2009, kinerja perbankan pada 2010 masih jauh lebih baik.
Kredit perbankan pada akhir 2010 berhasil tumbuh sebesar 22,80, jauh di atas pertum-
buhan pada periode yang sama 2009 yang sebesar 9,96. Dalam periode yang sama, dana
pihak ketiga DPK juga mengalami pertumbuhan yang lebih tinggi, yaitu sebesar 18,54. Di waktu
bersamaan, perbankan juga berhasil men cetak laba sebesar Rp57,309 triliun atau tumbuh
sebesar 26,76 dari tahun sebelumnya.

When
we look at the performance achieved by the Company during 2010,
righteously we are grateful to Allah SWT for all His gifts and blessings. Along with the
improving national and global economic conditions, the Company also managed to
achieve excellent performance.
Macro Economy
At the macro level, global and regional financial system in 2010 had been improved. Despite
facing some challenges, the national economy is still growing well. Indonesia is among the few
countries in Asia which has recorded positive growth. After experiencing a growth of 4.5 in
2009, in 2010 the Indonesian economy had positive growth of 6.
This also happen in national banking industry. Despite considerable policy challenges such as
increasing minimum reserve requirements MRR of 3 at the end of 2010, but banking
industry still able to get through this challenge well. This means that Indonesia’s economy and
banking has good enough durability.
Compared with 2008 and 2009, banking performance in 2010 was much better. Bank
credit at the end of 2010 managed to grow by 22.80, well above growth in the same period
in 2009, which was 9.96. In the same period, third-party funds TPF are also experiencing
higher growth, amounting to 18.54. At the same time, banking was also able to gain profit
of Rp57.309 trillion, or grew by 26.76 from previous year

Seiring membaiknya kondisi ekonomi nasional, pelaku di industri perbankan syariah juga sema kin
bertambah. Jika pada 2009 hanya ada 6 bank umum syariah BUS, maka pada akhir 2010
berdasarkan data Bank Indonesia BI jumlah BUS bertambah menjadi 11 bank, dengan unit usaha
syariah UUS sebanyak 23 unit, dan bank per- kreditan rakyat syariah BPRS sebanyak 150.
Selain volume usaha yang terus tumbuh secara signifikan, yakni sebesar 47,55 pada akhir 2010,
aktivitas funding dan financing perbankan syariah pada 2010 juga jauh lebih baik dibanding tahun
2009. Pengelolaan risiko di industri perbankan syariah pun semakin baik. Hal tersebut tercermin
pada non performing financing NPF perbankan syariah yang menurun menjadi 3,02 di akhir
2010 dari 4,01 pada 2009.
Membaiknya kinerja industri perbankan syariah tersebut, tidak lepas dari kepercayaan masyara kat
terhadap sistem perbankan syariah yang semakin meningkat kualitasnya. Dari waktu ke waktu,
kinerja industri perbankan syariah terus menunjukkan perbaikan yang cukup signifikan.
Ada sejumlah faktor yang membuat pertum buhan perbankan syariah pada 2010 cukup tinggi.
Pertama, program edukasi dari perbankan syariah sudah membawa hasil, sehingga semakin banyak
masyarakat Indonesia yang mengenal produk- produk perbankan syariah. Kedua, jumlah bank
umum syariah baru semakin bertambah dan cukup banyak investor yang berminat
meningkatkan investasinya di industri perbankan syariah. Ketiga, permintaan dan minat masyarakat
terhadap jasa keuangan perbankan syariah semakin besar. Tren yang berkembang sekarang,
cukup banyak anggota masyarakat dan korporasi yang mendiversifikasikan pengelolaan dana
mereka secara syariah. Persepsi secure dan

corporations have diversify their fund in Islamic management. Secure and trustworthy
perception inherent in the Islamic system was

Kami merasakan, pasca spin off, positioning Perseroan di pasar semakin kuat. Aktivitas
marketing dan promosi tidak langsung kepada nasabah semakin gencar dilakukan. Termasuk,
penye diaan jasa-jasa yang menghasilkan fee based income, perluasan outlet, dan meningkat-
kan fitur pelayanan yang ada di automatic teller machine ATM. Kini, seluruh jaringan ATM PT
Bank Bukopin Tbk, ATM Bersama, dan ATM Prima sudah bisa dipergunak an oleh nasabah. Produk
dan layanan lain juga terus dikembang kan, misalnya jasa pembayaran dan semua fitur
layanan yang ada di PT Bank Bukopin Tbk bisa dinikmati nasabah.
Sekarang, posisi service level agreement SLA Perseroan sama dengan PT Bank Bukopin Tbk.
Hal ini mem perkuat positioning Perseroan di pasar karena market semakin puas, jaringan
pelayanan semakin luas, produk layanan semakin beragam, dan promosi semakin gencar.
Bidang teknologi informasi TI, sumber daya insani SDI, dan infrastruktur juga diperkuat
sehingga Perseroan mampu mencapai pertumbuhan yang tinggi pada akhir 2010.

Community fund raising and financing continues to grow significantly. The Increase of
public confidence which was reflected in the activities of funding and financing has made the
financial position of the Company increased significantly.
We sense that after the spinoff, the Company positioning in the market getting stronger.
Marketing activities and non direct promotion activities to customers were done more
intensively. Including, the spread of services that generate fee-based income, the expansion
of outlets, and enhance the service features available in automatic teller machine ATM.
Now, the entire ATM network PT Bank Bukopin Tbk, ATM Bersama and ATM Prima can be
used by customers. Other products and services also continue to be developed, such
as payment services and all the features of existing services from PT Bank Bukopin Tbk
could be enjoyed by customers.
Up to now, the position of service level agree- ment SLA of the Company is the same with
PT Bank Bukopin Tbk. This strengthens the Company positioning in the market because the
market more satisfied, service network more extensive, more diverse service products, and
promotions become more frequent. Field of information technology IT, human resources
SDI, and infrastructure are also strengthened so that the Company are able to achieve high
growth by the end of 2010.
Business Achievements
On this occasion, we submit that the Company asset position as of December 2010 in year to
year has increased by 11.09 to Rp2.194
menjadi Rp2,194 triliun dari sebelumnya sebesar Rp1,975 triliun di akhir 2009. DPK Perseroan juga
meningkat menjadi Rp1,622 triliun atau tumbuh sebesar 27,52 dibandingkan posisi 2009 yang
nilainya Rp1,272 triliun. Demikian juga dengan pembiayaan, yang tumbuh positif menjadi sebesar
Rp1,612 triliun atau mengalami kenaikan sebesar 25,94 dari tahun 2009 yang sebesar Rp1,280
triliun.
Kegembiraan kami juga semakin lengkap dengan pencapaian laba bersih Perseroan, yang pada
tahun buku 2010 mampu menghasilkan laba kumulatif sebesar Rp10,234 miliar atau mengalami
kenaikan sebesar 1.131,53 dari tahun sebelum- nya yang sebesar Rp831 juta. Rasio kecukupan
modal atau capital adequacy ratio CAR Perseroan sebesar 11,51. Angka tersebut masih
di atas ketentuan CAR minimum yang ditetapkan BI yang sebesar 8. Pencapaian bisnis tersebut
merupakan fondasi bagi program akselerasi pertumbuhan dan pengembangan usaha
Perseroan ke depan.
Pencapaian bisnis tersebut, merupakan bagian dari keberhasilan manajemen dalam menerapkan
strategi pasca-spin off. Selama 2010, langkah besar yang dilakukan Perseroan meliputi beberapa
hal sebagai berikut :

Our excitement was more complete with the achievement of net income the Company,
which in fiscal year 2010 could result in cumulative profit of Rp10.234 billion or increase
to become 1,131.53 from the year before in which Rp831 million. The Company capital
adequacy ratio CAR was 11.51. The number is still above the minimum CAR requirements
set by Central Bank of Indonesia which was 8. Achievement of these businesses is the
foundations for growth accelerate program and development of the Company in the future.
Achievement of the business was part of the success of management in implementing the
strategy of post-spin off. During 2010, big steps were made by the Company includes
some of the following:

Broadly speaking, the target business in 2010 aimed at financing improvement, fund raising
and fee-based income. Overall, achievement of targets in 2010 was higher than in 2009.
Achievement as well as important records that has been achieved by the Company in 2010
was the development and distribution of car financing schemes motor vehicle with a
pattern of channeling through multifinance.
Mengakselerasi Pertumbuhan
Pasar syariah masih terbuka luas. Walaupun dari waktu ke waktu pangsa pasar perbankan syariah
mengalami kenaikan, namun angkanya masih relatif kecil. Penguasaan pangsa pasar syariah di
perbankan nasional pada akhir 2010 baru men- capai 3,24 dengan nilai sekitar Rp97,519 triliun.
Pelaku bisnisnya juga masih terbatas. Momen inilah yang ingin dimanfaatkan Perseroan dengan
mengoptimalkan peluang yang ada, sehingga percepatan pertumbuhan bisnis dapat dicapai.
Percepatan dilakukan, antara lain dengan mem- perkuat sumber daya insani SDI, marketing dan
memperbanyak jaringan outlet serta meningkatkan kualitas business process, mulai dari operasional,
marketing, hingga business control dengan target pertumbuhan bisnis overall sebesar 30-40.
Target ini ditunjang keyakinan bahwa kondisi makro 2011 semakin membaik. Di sisi lain, inter-
nal Perseroan sudah siap melakukan akselerasi dalam menggarap market yang masih terbuka
luas.

Accelerate Growth
Islamic market is still wide open. Although from time to time the market share of Islamic
banking has increased, but their numbers are still relatively small. Nationally market share in
Islamic banking by the end of 2010 only reached 3.24 with a value of about Rp97.519
trillion. Perpetrators in this business are still limited. This moment was used by the
Company to optimizing opportunities, thus accelerating business growth could be
achieved.
Acceleration, among others was done by strengthen the human resources development,
marketing and wider network outlet, not to mention improve business process quality, start
with operational and marketing up to business control to achieve target of overall business as
much as 30 - 40. This target was supported by the fact that macro condition in 2011 will be
getting better. On their side, internally, the Company has ready to accelerate open market.
Dalam rangka melakukan akselerasi tersebut, Perseroan saat ini terus memperkuat SDI.
Meskipun baru berusia dua tahun, Perseroan telah mampu mencetak lulusan Officer Development
Program ODP sebanyak 40 orang yang siap menjadi officer potensial. Hasil lulusan ODP
tersebut, saat ini telah tersebar di Kantor Pusat dan beberapa Kantor Cabang. Dalam waktu
dekat, menyelenggarakan ODP Angkatan II. Kami berharap, program tersebut dapat diikuti
sebanyak 40 orang . Saat ini, ODP Angkatan II dalam tahap final proses rekrutmen.
Pengembangan selanjutnya bagi lulusan ODP yang sudah menjadi officer yang sangat potensial
adalah diikutsertakan dalam proses percepatan pengembangan atau talent development. Namun,
sebelum proses tersebut dilaksanakan, manaje- men Perseroan telah melakukan talent mapping
terlebih dahulu. Ke depan, kami berharap, SDI yang berhasil lolos melewati proses tersebut
dapat segera mengisi posisi middle management.
Melihat potensi bisnis dan kekuatan yang dimiliki perusahaan, Dewan Direksi berkeyakin an,
Perseroan akan terus menjadi bank yang sehat, berkembang, dan tumbuh dengan baik sehingga
semakin diper caya masyarakat. Untuk mewujud- kan keyakinan itu, dibutuhkan komitmen dan
dukungan kuat dari seluruh karyawan dan manajemen disertai profe sionalisme dalam
mengelola perusahaan. Dalam praktiknya, ada 4 empat kunci penting yang selalu dipraktikkan
oleh seluruh jajaran karyawan, yakni bekerja keras, meningkatkan kompe tensi, menjaga
integritas, dan selalu berdoa kepada Allah SWT.
Dewan Direksi juga mengucapkan terima kasih atas dukungan dan kepercayaan yang selama ini
diberikan oleh segenap nasabah, manajemen, karyawan, dan pemegang saham. Sehingga, Per-
seroan dapat terus berkembang dan makin kokoh di tengah konstelasi industri perbankan syariah di
Tanah Air dan tetap berada pada koridor perbank- an syariah seperti yang ditetapkan bank sentral.
Ke depan, persaingan usaha akan semakin ketat. Meskipun demikian, Perseroan harus mampu
mencapai target yang telah disepakati bersama. Kemajuan yang dicapai perusahaan tentu akan

In terms of accelerating process, the Company right now keep on strengthen their human
resources development. Although still in their second years, the Company has capable to
deliver 40 graduations from Officer Development Program that will be ready to
become potential officer. ODP graduation right now has already spread out to head office and
some of branches. In the near future, will conduct ODP batch II. We hope that this
program could be having more than 40 participants. Right now ODP II still in final
process. Next development for ODP that has become a
potential officer was followed by talent development program. But in those before the
process implemented, the Company management has done some talent mapping. In
the future, we hope, human resources that succeed in this process could fill middle
management position.
Looking through the potential business in this company, Board of Directors have faith that the
Company will continue to become healthy bank, improved and have a good development so the
Company could gain more trust from the society. To fulfill that faith, the Company need
commitment and support from all employees and management with professionalism in
running the Company. In practice there are 4 four important keys that always been done by
employee, which are hard work, improve competency, keep the integrity and always pray
to Allah SWT. Board of Directors would also like to say thank
you for the support and trust that has been given by customers, management, employees
and stake holder. Thus the Company could keep continue to grow and stable in the middle
of constellation in Islamic banking industry in Indonesia and still in corridor Islamic banking
stated by Central Bank of Indonesia. In the future competitiveness will be tight.
