Therefore, from the two perspectives, it is gained that the students will use English for any purposes in the future. Students will use English not only to
communicate with strangers and to continue the study but also to pass the examination and to get the jobs easily.

Based on Table 4.2, there are 97.5 of students who agree and strongly agree that their expectation in learning English is to be able to master the
English vocabulary related to automotive field. They also expect that in learning English, they will be able to understand the meaning and the use of
words, sentences, and expressions in English and to be able to master the English grammar.
Moreover, based on the result of the interview with some students, they stated that their expectation in learning English were to be able to communicate
in English and to understand the English vocabulary. The excerpt can be seen as follows.

Table 4.3 shows that in their future work life, most students strongly agree and agree that they will use English to understand the instructions and
manuals and to translate the terms or instructions in English. In addition, according to the result of the interview, students stated that in work life, English
