In the highland area, 70.7 of the adults prefer unbottled water and 50 of adults in the lowland prefer bottled water. It means that in the lowland, the adult’s preference is the same between the unbottled water and the ubottled water Table 10. In the teenagers group, the reason for choosing unbottled drinking water is because of its safety, and it is explained by 80.3 and 81.0 in the highland and lowland area respectively. The same reason for selecting the bottled drinking water is a safety, and it was mentioned by the 80.8 of teenagers in highland and 65.4 in lowland. So the issues of safety drinking water are a concern for most teenagers who live in both ecological regions. The second priority of choosing water and other beverages are practically used or easy to drink 11.5 in highland and 23.1 in lowland. In the adult group, the reason to choose unbottled drinking water is also because of its safety which is 63.1 in the highland and 80.4 in the lowland. Moreover, in the highland and lowland, the reasons to drink bottled drinkingbeverages are because of its safety 55.6 and 58.8 respectively and its practicality 33.3 and 27.5 respectively. It is conclude that consumers more consider in safety and practical issues for choosing drinking water and other beverages. 31 It is only 52.6 and 39.4 of teenagers in the highland and lowland prefers to consume other beverages instead of plain water. However, the hot temperature in North Jakarta makes the most teenagers prefer to consume plain water compare to other beverages. The most reasons to consume other beverages are due to the taste 98.2 in Lembang and 69.8 in North Jakarta. The main expectation of the teenagers to consume other beverages is to get a nice taste compare to other reasons. Meanwhile, the second issue for choosing other beverages is a safety aspect, which is stated by 14.0 and 7.0 in highland and lowland area respectively. The adult preferences are different compared to the teenagers group. The adults show that they are more preferred to consume the plain water rather than other beverages. There are only 25.0 of adult in the highland and 18.6 in the lowland prefer to consume other beverages. Their reason for consuming the other beverages is because of the taste which is stated by 87.5 in highland and 65.0 in lowland. Each of the subjects was asked to name three types of other beverages other than plain water. There are 17 types of beverages named by the subject, and its distribution is almost similar between the two groups in two study locations. For teenagers in the highland, they are prefer a bottled tea 26.8, home-prepare tea 23.7, fresh milk 17.5, powder drinking 14.4, electrolyte drink 14.4 and others. In the lowland, the teenagers are more prefer to consume bottled tea 13.8, electrolyte drink 14.7, and home-prepare tea 12.8 then others. In both locations tea is favorite drink for the most teenagers. Meanwhile, for the adult in the highland area, they prefer to drink tea 18.5 and coffee 14.1. At the other side, the adult in lowland, prefer home-prepare tea 14.7.

4.4. The Know ledge on Healthy Drinking

All teenagers in the highland and low land area are having similar educational background. They are still studying at the senior high school. The results show that the score of knowledge are higher in the highland compare to the lowland area. There are several aspect related to knowledge on healthy drinking such as drinking water, function of water for our body, effect of dehydration, requirement of water, water food sources, symptoms of dehydration, characteristics of safe water, the contaminated water, and safety of various beverages. 32 In the highland area, the knowledge of 53.6 teenagers categorized as medium score 60 - 80, and 2.1 as high score 80. Meanwhile in the lowland, there are 41.3 students as medium knowledge and 1.0 students as high knowledge. By comparing the score for each aspect of knowledge on healthy drinking, the teenagers in the highland are consistently better than in the lowland. Adult groups at both areas are having more various educational backgrounds. The subjects of the adult group were drawn from teachers, administrative staffs, canteen staffs, and parents. Therefore, they have a various education background starting from elementary to bachelor degree. This educational background may affect to their knowledge on healthy drinking. This study indicates that the knowledge of adults from both areas are mostly in the medium level score 60 - 80. It was found that the adult with high knowledge in the highland are higher compare to the lowland 19.6 and 10.8 respectively Table 11. Table 11. Most of the teenagers in the lowland answer correctly the question regarding the comparison about water drinking and the carbonated drinks. There are 79.8 of teenagers in the lowland can answered correctly and 73.2 in the highland. Several aspect of the healthy drinking water is less known by the teenagers in both ecological areas. Those aspects are water function to body 21.4, effect of consuming contaminated water 28.6, specific requirement of body fluid 34.0, and the water food sources 35.9.
