Based on the table 4.10, the experts agreed that the syllabus was well developed 4.33. This means that the core competences and basic competences
were reflected in the designed learning model. The learning model that was developed was referred to the syllabus. The indicators that supposed to be
achieved has meet the students need and based on the basic competences and core competences from the syllabus in curriculum 2013.
The second statement deals with the topic that was referred to the syllabus. The result shows that the experts agreed with the statement 4.67. The topic was
chosen based on the basic competences and indicators in the syllabus. The experts agreed that the learning model is interesting 4.00. The learning model has
consistency 4.33. It deals with the layout, font color and size, and capitalization that were involved in the Interactive PowerPoint.
The learning model is easy to navigate 4.33. It is related to the instructions given in the beginning slide of the learning model. The text in the learning model
is readable 4.33. By choosing the right layout, font color and size, and capitalization, it makes the text readable. The pictures in the learning model help
the students in recognizing the words 4.00. Some difficult words in reading text
were linked to the other slide with pictures and its definition. The experts considered that the pictures are helpful.
The learning material provides continuous material to develop reading skill 4.00. The material in the learning model was targeted to help the students
develop their reading skill. Therefore, it is inserted the reading strategies for developing students’ reading skill.
The learning model encourages interaction between Students and Teacher 4.33. In the Presentation Section, the interaction between students and teacher
was encouraged because in this section students and teacher can do discussion. In addition, the learning model encourages interaction between Students and
Students 4. In the Check Your Understanding Section, the student-student interaction was boosted because in this section, students can do a discussion about
the students’ understanding toward the reading text. The learning model provides activities that similar to students’ real life 4.67.
The reading text and some classroom activities reflected the students’ daily life. It is in line with the core competences and basic competences in the syllabus. Beside
it is referred to daily life, the learning model provides opportunities for students to learn language system 4.33. It means the learning model provides good exposure
such as grammar, vocab, etc. Another exposure for students that is provided in the learning model is
annotation. The experts agreed that the annotation linked definition of certain words in the learning model helps the students to recognize the meaning of the
words 4.00. The difficult words were not only linked to certain words as its definition but also to another pictures to help them recognized the words well.
The learning model integrates many language skills 4.67. Since the teacher teaching method is combining the English skills in each meeting, the designed
learning model was also designed to enable the English skills can be integrated into one meeting.
The experts believed that the learning model improves students’ motivation to learn English 4.67. The Exercise Section provides many reading activities that
can be done by the students. All of the exercises were set with scores. If the answer is correct then the student gets 1 point, if it is wrong, the score is reduced
by 0.3 point. This setting has made the user to be enthusiastic to use PowerPoint to learn English. Through this design learning model, the student can enjoy
learning English 4.67. Students have enough time to get feedback using the learning mode 4.00.
The learning model provides feedback for the students 4.00. Each question in the Exercise Section is linked to the feedback whether the answer is correct or
incorrect. The correct answer is linked to the bubble talk that says “excellent Your answer is correct”, while the incorrect answer is linked to a bubble talk that
says “Sorry Your answer is wrong.” Those feedback were inserted in each question and made the learning model becomes Interactive.
Students are able to learn English using the learning model inside and outside the school 4.33. The learning model was designed to enable the students to
develop their reading skill not only in the school. The students can also practice their reading skill at home.
The last statement deals with the experts’ opinion on the learning model overall. Generally, the learning model is well designed 4.33. The experts agreed
that the designed learning model is generally well designed.
