This study is expected to give benefits for English teachers, schools, material writers, institutions, English Department, and other researchers.

The result of this study can be used as input to help them in developing an interesting media to teach English, especially in teaching listening.

H. Assumption and Limitation of the Research
The researcher assumes that a video program is appropriate to teach a listening skill for the third grade students of elementary schools. A video program
is a program consisting of tasks and a spoken language material such as a video. Tasks give a chance for the students to improve their understanding of the
materials. Besides, a video provides more complete content of actions, gestures, and pictures. It gives students a chance to relate what they see in video to the
materials. The song and pictures of a video will help the students understand the meaning of the video. Besides, it will make the students be interested in the
