Sebelum menjelaskan tentang cara penggunaan Video progam, ada beberapa komponen penting yang harus diketahui terlebih dahulu. Komponen-komponen tersebut adalah: 1. Cover Di dalam cover terdapat nama mahasiswa, NIM, jurusan, fakultas, dan logo. Terdapat tombol next yang berfungsi untuk menuju ke menu selanjutnya. 2. Main menu Di dalam tombol main menu terdapat tombol next, back, dan exit. Tombol next berfungsi untuk menuju ke menu selanjutnya. Tombol back berfungsi untuk kembali ke menu sebelumnya. Dan tombol exit berfungsi untuk keluar. Terdapat 4 menu utama yaitu unit 1, unit 2, unit 3, dan help. ‐ Unit 1 Didalam unit 1 terdiri dari beberapa bagian yaitu Core Competence and Basic Competence, Indicators andLearning Objective, materi, dan tugas. Tema unit 1 adalah food and beverages. 3 265  Core Competence and Basic Competence Ini adalah Kompetensi Inti dan Kompetensi Dasar  Indicators and Learning Objective Ini adalah indikator dan tujuan pembelajaran  Materi Materi berisi gambar dan list of vocabularies  Tugas Terdapat tiga langkah yaitu pre-viewing, while-viewing, dan post-viewing. Di dalam pre-viewing terdapat 2 tugas yaitu listen and guess, dan listen and repeat, Di dalam while- viewing terdapat video yang berisi lagu tentang food and beverages dan 3 tugas yaitu listen and numbers, listen and classify, dan listen and colour. Di dalam post-viewing terdapat 3 tugas yaitu answer the questions, dan let’s sing a song. Dalam setiap slide terdapat tombol next, back, home, sub menu home unit. terdapat tugas-tugas dan video. Terdapat tombol next, back, dan home. Tombol next berfungsi untuk menuju ke menu selanjutnya. Tombol back berfungsi untuk kembali ke menu sebelumnya. Tombol home berfungsi untuk kembali ke main menu. Tombol sub menu home unit berfungsi untuk kembali ke unit.
