Bentuk Karakter
Lingkaran

visual suatu bentuk. Warna memiliki tiga dimensi, yaitu :
warna.

102 c. Intensitas : tingkat kemurnian dan kepekatan suatu warna jika
dibandingkan dengan warna yang kualitasnya sama. Francis DK Ching, Ilustrasi Desain Interior, 1996: 108.
Menurut Faber Birren, warna yang nyaman untuk dilihat adalah “Visibility is one factor in color that may be readily measured. The
ability to see clearly may be determined by experiment and test and requires neither feeling nor judgment. As has previously been
mentioned, the eye sees best in white, yellowish, or yellow-ish green light and worst in blue light.” Faber Birren, Color Psychology and
berikut “it is logical to use cool colors such as green or blue where the working condition exposes the employee to relatively high
temperatures. Consversly, warm tones of ivory, cream, or peach are suitable to soften up a vaulty or chilly space and compensate for lack
of natural light.” Faber Birren, Color Psychology and Color Therapy, 1961:249
Warna-warna yang berfungsi sebagai penunjuk keamanan menurut Faber Birren adalah “yellow or yellow and black bands is
standard to mark strike-against, stumbling, or failing hazards. It is paited on obstructions, low beams, dead ends, the edges of platforms
and pits. Being the color of highest visibility in the spectrum, it is conspicuous under all lighting conditions ang well adapted to the
above purpose.” Faber Birren, Color Psychology and Color Therapy, 1961:253
“Orange is standard for acute hazards likely to cut, crush, burn, or shock the worker. It is painted around the edges of cutting machines
and rollers. On the inside areas of machine guards and electric switch boxes, it shouts loudly when such devices are removed or left open.
Green is standard to identify first aid equipment, cabinets for stretchers, gas masks, medicines, and the like.

103 Red is reserved entirely and exclusively for marking of fire
protection devices. It is painted on walls behind extinguishers, on floors to prevent obstruction, on valves and fittings for hose
connections.” Faber Birren, Color Psychology and Color Therapy, 1961:253
“…warm tones such as peach and rose are desirable for the maternity division where the patient may not be seriously ill and
where a will to get well is the spirit to be encouraged. Cool tones of blues, greens, grays become appropriate for
chronic patient who should be reconciled to a more prolonged stay.” Faber Birren, Color Psychology and Color Therapy,
1961:264
2 Schools “Elementary schoolrooms are best “color conditions” in warm
tones of yellow, peach, pink. These color are stimulating to young minds and are favorable for “emotionally determined actions”, as
Goldstein has noted. In secondary grades, tones of green, blue- green, blue, and gray are recommended to avoid emotional
distraction and to aid mental concentration.” Faber Birren, Color Ppsychology and Color Therapy, 1961:264
