Medical Cost of Antam Employee (IDR)
Workplace inspection activities are conducted periodically at all business units-units that do business throughout 2010, including examining the level of noise, vibration levels, dust, lighting, and water quality monitoring. The Company also conducted bio-monitoring of blood lead check for welder operators, bio-monitoring of cyanide in blood, and examining the condition of office ergonomics.
Another effort is to ensure cleanliness of the room, laboratory and office environment, provision of garbage bins, and sewer. Also routinely performed are assistance during K3 patrol, in order to ensure all aspects of occupational health have been conducted properly.
Antam also pays attention to efforts in managing health care for employee’s families and communities around the locations of the Company. Health services available around the work site are in the form of clinics and medical center, as well as health care services for employee’s families and the general public. Health unit at business unit also provides continuous health education with an emphasis on preventive and promotive efforts against the threat of dangerous and infectious diseases. (LA8)
