6.7 Management Information System

The hosting company of winrip-ibrd.com server has done migration of server from VPS-XEN to VPS-KVM. The hosting server storing almost all applications and websites of WINRIP. So the migration process is very important for the sustainability of applications and websites of WINRIP. There are a few things done in the server migration process, namely: • Cha ges i the co trol pa el. • Upgrade of the e ser er a d data ase ser er. • I creasi g the capacity a d ‘AM of the ser er. • Cha ge the IP address of the ser er. In the user side, the migration process is not affected at all. Because the applications and websites of WINRIP looks normal as usual. However, in the administrator side, the migration process is very beneficial. Among them is the increase in capacity of server from 25 GB to 50 GB. This capacity increase has been changing our paradigm. Originally we had planned to use NAS server for storage of WINRIP files. Because of the greater capacity of server hosting, then we put the database and documents on the server hosting with subdomain address http:dms.winrip-ibrd.com. And in February we will be doing testing of DMS and storage application on the server hosting. This testing process will involve the supporting staff. Those who will manage and update the content of the DMS applications.

6.7.1 Server Hosting Migration

1 Preparation Before starting the migration of server hosting, we have to backup all of data. Which is backed up of databases and script files of all applications and websites. The backup process handy in case when the server migration process failed. So that we can still do the recovery. And all applications and websites stay safe and run normally. Here is a list of database and files backups that we have done. NO. APPLICATIONS DATABASE FILES 1 CHS 22.5 KB 8.02 MB 2 FMIS 55.7 KB 40.9 MB 3 Storage --- 2.88 GB 4 Website 2.57 MB 32.5 MB Monthly Progress Report January 2015 Western Indonesia National Roads Improvement Project 65 This proved useful, because after the server migration process then the FMIS and website was an error. So we do a recovery database of FMIS and website. After that the FMIS and WINRIP website back to normal. 2 Migration Process The migration process is change the system and capacity of the VPS services, from VPS-XEN to VPS-KVM. The hosting company also increasing the capacity and larger of RAM with same rental price. Because in 2015, they are no longer using the VPS-XEN server. Time limit of server migration is until the end of January 2015. And for the life time of the VPS-XEN server is at the end of February 2015. After the limit the VPS-XEN servers will be shut down. All the migration process is done by the hosting company. They help for control panel installation, upgrade web server and database server. While we do a backup of the database and files. NO. MIGRATION 1 Installation of control panel 2 Upgrade and setting up of web server 3 Upgrade and setting up of database server 4 Increase of capacity and RAM 5 New IP address http:103.229.72.181 The impact of this migration process is changing the IP address of server from http:49.50.8.125 to http:103.229.72.181. So we have to do re-pointing DNS of winrip- ibrd.com domain to the new IP address. Pointing process of IP address has using the control panel that provided by the hosting company. 3 Migration Results The migration process of server gives us some advantages. The biggest advantage is the addition of server capacity up to 50 GB and RAM up to 16 GB. The bigger capacity has been changing our paradigm. Originally we had planned to use NAS server for storage of WINRIP files. Because of the greater capacity of server hosting, then we put the database and documents on the server hosting with subdomain address http:dms.winrip-ibrd.com. Meanwhile the addition of 16 GB of RAM make increasing server performance. Then the server work becomes faster and stable. Monthly Progress Report January 2015 Western Indonesia National Roads Improvement Project 66 Here is the results of the migration process of server. NO. MIGRATION RESULTS 1 Control panel Has been upgraded 2 Web server Has been upgraded 3 Database server Has been upgraded 4 Capacity Increased to 50 GB 5 RAM Increased to 16 GB 6 IP address Changed to http:103.229.72.181

6.9 Project Risks and Mitigation Measures

6.9.1 Risks Related to Delays

Since the detailed engineering design DED is under responsibility of the Design and Supervision Consultant DSC, delay on DSC establishment affected to the procurement of AWP-2 and AWP-3 sub-projects.
