E. Research Population

According to Arikunto 2010:173, “Populasi merupakan keseluruhan subjek penelitian ”. This reaserch is population research. In this research the population was 63 students in Grade X Accounting Student at SMK Negeri 1 Yogyakarta. F. Collecting Data Technique The technique of collecting data in this causal comparative research was using questionnaire and documentation. According to Sugiyono 2009:142, questionnaire was a technique of collecting data by giving written set of question or statement to the respondent to be answered. Questionnaire used for collecting data related to parenting style, emotional quotient, learning readiness and learning style in Grade X Accounting Student at SMK Negeri 1 Yogyakarta. The kind of questionnaire used was closed questionnaire. Questionnaire was furnished by alternative answer so that the students are required to choose the provided answer. Meanwhile, documentation used to know the score of final semester test of second semester in Grade X Accounting Student at SMK Negeri 1 Yogyakarta Academic Year of 20152016. Documentation method also used to obtain data on the number of students and school overview.

G. Research Instrument

Research instrument was a tool used for measuring an event observed. Instrument used in this research was questionnaire. Questionnaire used was 50 closed questionnaire with alternative answers so that the respondent required to choose. The measurement of questionnaire used linkert scale. For the purposes of quantitative analysis and avoiding doubt answer of the respondent, the linkert scale used had been modified, so that would be only four alternative answers. The answer of each instrument had gradation from the most positive to the most negative words. Table 1.
