Consider the inancial performance, individual performance, the reasonableness of the peer group, and the Bank’s long-term goals and strategies, in relation to the remuneration policy v. Provide recommendations for prospective members of the Board of Commissioners and or Board of Directors to be submitted to the General Meeting of Shareholders; and vi. Provide recommendations on the candidates of Independent Party to be members of the Committee to the Board of Commissioners vii. Develop the system and procedures and or replacement of the members of the Board of Commissioners and Board of Directors to be submitted to the GMS. SHARIA SUPERVISORY BOARD DPS As a sharia bank, BRISyariah has a Sharia Supervisory Board DPS. The DPS is independent and has the duty to supervise the activities of the Bank, as well as ensure that the business activities and operations of the Bank comply with sharia principles. Members of the DPS are designated by the National Sharia Board of the Indonesian Ulema Council DSN- MUI with the approval of Bank Indonesia Financial Services Authority OJK. In performing its duties during the period of 2015, the DPS not only provided opinions related to new products and activities of BRISyariah, but also performed assurance on the implementation of sharia principles in the business activities and operations of the Bank by performing coordination with and assistance to the relevant work units within the Bank. In terms of the implementation of supervisory duties, the DPS works together with the Compliance Unit and Internal Audit Unit to ensure the Bank’s compliance to sharia principles. In 2015, the DPS issued 23 sharia opinions in order to ascertain compliance of the Bank’s activities and products with sharia principles. Memberikan rekomendasi calon Pihak Independen yang dapat menjadi anggota Komite kepada Dewan Komisaris. DEWAN PENGAWAS SYARIAH DPS Sebagai bank syariah, BRISyariah memiliki Dewan Pengawas Syariah DPS. DPS bersifat independen dan bertugas untuk mengawasi kegiatan Bank, serta memastikan kepatuhan kegiatan bisnis dan operasional bank agar sesuai dengan Prinsip Syariah. Anggota DPS ditetapkan oleh Dewan Syariah Nasional Majelis Ulama Indonesia DSN-MUI dengan persetujuan Bank IndonesiaOtoritas Jasa Keuangan OJK. Dalam pelaksanaan tugasnya selama periode tahun 2015, DPS tidak hanya melakukan pemberian opini kepada produk dan aktivitas baru BRISyariah, namun DPS juga melakukan pemastian terhadap pelaksanaan prinsip syariah dalam kegiatan bisnis dan operasional Bank dengan melakukan koordinasi dan asistensi kepada unit-unit kerja terkait dalam Bank. Dalam hal pelaksanaan tugas pengawasan, DPS bekerja sama dengan Satuan Kerja Kepatuhan dan Satuan Kerja Audit Intenal untuk memastikan pelaksanaan kepatuhan bank terhadap prinsip syariah. Pada periode tahun 2015 DPS telah mengeluarkan 48 opini syariah dalam rangka pemastian aktivitas dan produk bank sesuai dengan prinsip syariah.
