ii. Transposition
The second strategy is transposition. There are a lot of transposition found in the phrases which are in the datum. Those phrases are her body,
translated as tubuhnya. Her fingers, translated into jemarinya. The next is the thin fabric of my shirt, which becomes bahan tipis kausku. Then the last is my
stomach becomes perutku. All of the phrases are still having the same concept as what the writer stated before. In the TT, the head of the phrase will always be
placed in the front, while the adjective or the possessive pronoun are following.
iii. Modulation
This strategy is applied in the sentence the sensation was electric and it is translated into sensasinya bagai tersetrum. The translator prefers to describe this
sentence using analogy, instead of giving an exact description about how the sensation is. It can be seen from the word bagai in the TT. The translator wants
the readers to imagine and feel deeper about how it feels to get electric shocked and then try to sychronize it with the feeling or sensation that John and
Savannah feel in that part of the story.

In the datum above, there are also some phrases with transposition strategy. Those are, her neckand shoulders, translated as leher dan bahunya. The
next is her breath, which becomes napasnya. Then, my ear, becomes telingaku. The last is her skin, which translated into kulitnya. All of those phrases are
applying the transposition strategy so that it can result an acceptable translation.
ii. Addition Structural
Another strategy applied is addition. This is the addition strategy which is included in the structural strategy. It can be seen in the sentence the sensastion
of her skin against mine, which translated into sensasi persentuhan kulitnya dengan kulitku. In the ST, it is only stated mine
, but when it comes to the TT‟s structure then, the object is also written and followed by the possessive pronoun,
so it becomes kulitku.
