i. Transposition
In the datum above, there are also some phrases with transposition strategy. Those are, her neckand shoulders, translated as leher dan bahunya. The
next is her breath, which becomes napasnya. Then, my ear, becomes telingaku. The last is her skin, which translated into kulitnya. All of those phrases are
applying the transposition strategy so that it can result an acceptable translation.
ii. Addition Structural
Another strategy applied is addition. This is the addition strategy which is included in the structural strategy. It can be seen in the sentence the sensastion
of her skin against mine, which translated into sensasi persentuhan kulitnya dengan kulitku. In the ST, it is only stated mine
, but when it comes to the TT‟s structure then, the object is also written and followed by the possessive pronoun,
so it becomes kulitku.

There are three strategies in the datum above. Those are
i. Transposition
This strategy can be seen in the phrase my skin which translated in reversed into kulitku.
ii. Synonym
The second strategy found is synonym. This strategy can be analyzed in the sentence I felt my skin tingle which translated as aku merasakan kulitku
menggelenyar. According to OALD, tingle means to feel as if a lot of small sharp points are pushing into it, while the definition of menggelenyar as stated
by KBBI is feels like being bitten. Both of these words are synonymous because both of the description is about feeling like being touched or even bitten by
something sharp. However, the word menggelenyar is not common for the TT readers, therefore they think this translation is not acceptable.
iii. Modulation
This strategy is applied in the last clause beneath her touch which becomes terkena sentuhannya. The translator uses modulation because when she
translates it into di bawah sentuhannya, then it will be less understandable because it is not common in the TT to combine the preposition, such as di
bawah, with the subject, which is in this case is sentuhannya. By translating the word beneath into terkena, the TT readers are able to easily get the point,
because terkena sentuhannya is a common expression used in the TT. Sentuhan touch is able to be felt when we make a physical contact, that is why the phrase
terkena sentuhannya is more logic to be applied. In order to summerize the translation strategy of the romantic elements,
