To anticipate the risks faced by BNI Syariah in maintaining and managing inancial assets and liabilities of the bank, then BNI Syariah formed Asset liabilities Management Committee consisting of all Directors, head of Treasury, Fund and International Division, head of Finance and operations Division, head of Strategic Planning and Performance Division, head of Network and Services Division, head of Product and Financing Procedure Division, head of Commercial Division, head of Financing Cards Division and head of Risk Management Division. In performing its duties, KAlMA has the authority to establish policies and management of assets and liabilities, which include: 1. liquidity Management 2. Position Management Gap Management; 3. Foreign Exchange Management; 4. earning lnvestment Management. To maximize the quality and proitability of assets and liabilities management within the framework of an acceptable commercial risk as well as the proprietary investment portfolio according to the authority, KAlMA has the duties and responsibilities as follows: 1. Set goals and objectives of the Asset liabilities Management KAlMA of BNI Syariah and formulate policies and strategies needed. 2. Provide asset and liability management guidance of BNI Syariah. 3. establish and maintain appropriate number of liquid tools as needed in liquidity and the provision of Bank Indonesia. 4. Maintain the balance of the use of funds by source of funds. 5. establish policies placement either through money market funds and capital markets. 6. Analyze the balance sheet structure and assess all risks arising from exposure owned by BNI Syariah in the form of credit risk, market risk and liquidity risk. 7. evaluate progress and prospects of economic indicators and analyze their impact on the position of deposits and loans, foreign currency positions, proit sharing, foreign currency exchange rates and proitability of BNI Syariah. 8. Calculate the estimated expenses for the results and determine the proit-sharing demand deposits, savings and time deposits. 9. Set the price of internal funds transfer FTP. The duties and responsibilities that have been implemented Kalma in 2010, include: a. Decided pricing and product ratio of BNI Syariah b. Set a limit cash.
