Pupuk Indonesia telah merancang dan menetapkan kebijakan standar Passing Grade penerimaan pegawai di seluruh Holding Group, agar tersedia pegawai yang memiliki kompetensi memadai untuk mendukung kinerja Pupuk Indonesia. Peningkatan kompetensi dilakukan melalui program tugas belajar dalam dan luar negeri serta pelaksanaan training inhouse dan outplant yang diselaraskan dengan program talent pools sehingga tersedia kader-kader potensial sebagai pemimpin Perusahaan di masa yang akan datang.
Untuk meningkatkan produktivitas pegawai, Pupuk Indonesia memberikan program kesehatan pegawai dan keluarga serta program paska kerja yang dapat memberikan ketenangan di masa pensiun.
Penerapan Sistem Human Capital Management (HCMS) di seluruh Anak Perusahaan meliputi Organization Development, HR Planning, Knowledge Management, Remunerasi berbasis Kompetensi & Kinerja, Talent Management & Career Path, Integrasi sistem SDM
Pupuk Indonesia has designed and stipulated Employee Recruitment Passing Grade Standard Policy in entire Holding Group, so that employee with sufficient competency will be able to support performance of Pupuk Indonesia. Competency development is done through domestic and international learning assignment as well as in-house and out plant training implementation adjusted with talent pools program to develop potential candidates as future leaders of the Company.
To increase employee’s productivity, Pupuk Indonesia provides employee and family health program and post- employment program that bring convenience during the retirement period.

Overall, the number of Pupuk Indonesia employees reached 10,739 employees in 2015. All of the employees of Pupuk Indonesia are assigned in different working units and have contributed optimally to improve performance of the Company.
